Thanks for the reply. I have been telling him to upgrade to a 4000/040,
but he keeps putting it off. I can't imagine rendering on a stock 2000, he
has a lot of patience.
BTW… Regarding the problem with lowercase letters in the spline editor:
I took the advice of others and looked at the knots in the letters that
gave the crazy (intersecting) error. I found that a couple of them (knots)
were twisted (in a circle). I then rotated the knots to straighten them
out and all was ok. Hope this helps in your fixing it.
