Greig, I was having trouble with QEMM and Ani Pro myself. If you have run Optimize, you will probably have a line in your config.sys like this: DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QDPMI.SYS SWAPFILE=DPMI.SWP SWAPSIZE=1024 I was able to get Ani Pro to work by REMming out that statement, but then Windows would crash upon loading. I then unREmmed it, and added the word OFF at the end of the line, with a space after 1024. Now I can run them both. See if maybe this helps. Another option would be to set up a multi-boot configuration, and set one of the options as a "vanilla" boot (files, buffers, mouse…) with no QEMM. Ani Pro should load easily.
