Rendering w/ flames
Hi
Does anyone know or speculate why my PC would lock up when rendering a flames
IPAS. I have rendered with no problems before but all the sudden I'm locking
up. No keyboard action or mouse function, got to reboot. I have reloaded all
software thinking a file went corrupt. I still have the same problem. I created
the project file on a 486 DX 50 and zipped it up (pk204g) loaded it on the
Pentium. I dont think thats the prob but could it be a bad project file? The
original renders fine on the 486. I have no probs ever on the 486.
The description or software and equipment:
Pentium 90
64 meg ram
Matrox Impression plus 4meg
liquid speed
3DS 4.0
PAR CARD w/ Micropolis 2217a H.D.
Another 2217a H.D. as my software drive.
P.S. Im rendering directly to the PAR drive. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
