#Undelete
Don,
Well it finally happened. I deleted a file that I really needed. And of
course, no backup. Question is, what will recover it?
I thought I had read that Dave Haynie's Disksalv would do it. So I tried it on
a test disk. I formated it, copied one file to it and then deleted it. I first
tried Disksalv. It never found anything on the disk and copied nothing to the
2nd disk. Next I tried Undelete, a PD program. It also found nothing. As a last
gasp, I then tried Diskdoctor, also with no results. What's the story here? I
know I've read of people recovering deleted files from KS disks and others.
What am I doing wrong. Thanks for your help. BTW I'm using Disksalv 1.0 (which
I think is the latest version) and Diskdoctor from WB1.2 Later, Greg
