There is a new version of ShowANIM (4.00) that ADDS some new compression
formats and runs faster. The new compression stuff is quite good. For
example, the ANIM "The Dream Goes Berserk" created by Leo Schawb in
VideoScape 3D is over 500K in size. With one of the new compression
formats it shrinks to about 240K in size. The current ANIM format is STILL
VALID. I expect to upload a copy of the new show ANIM and Berserk anim
this week to compuserve. Both Aegis VideoTitler and the next revision of
VideoScape 3D will use some of these new ANIM opcodes. The new formats
work well with digitized images as well… (This stuff is already up on
some services….). Thanks.
