Brian, The SimpleLibraries are very helpful indeed. They are, in my estimation worth the $99 being asked. Bear in mind that there are 3 separate packages that are optional. I have used 2 of them (Simple and C), and both are very handy. They will save me a lot of work and time. The other optional library package, "Graphics and IFF", I have yet to use, but they sound like they will be just as handy. The prerelease special is $299 for the entire package including the three optional library packages, and I think that makes it even more desirable. As you may know, I am quite ruthless when criticising products that fall short of my expectations. In the case of Benchmark, I have very little to gripe about, the only thing being that I would prefer a different editor. This of course is highly subjective, and many will love the editor. Benchmark could be the Amiga equivalent of Turbo Pascal. Regards, Larry.
