Yes, there are genlocks available, ranging from home use to near-network
quality. Price for one of the best is about $780, and there are more in
the pipeline. Hardware ranges from the decent to the really good stuff.
There are some embelishments available tht reach true professional level.

that I'm talking about.)
As for MS-DOS, current bridgeboard is an XT clone, with the new AT
(80286) being released RSN. The nice thing about it is that it runs
concurrent with the 68000, full speed, with the display running as a task
on the Amiga side. You get IBM slots in the bargain, allowing use of most
hardware from the IBM to be plunked into the 2000. Two of them are AT type
slots, with the other two being XT.
Video software ranges from Paint programs to Text Titling to whatever,
with hardware now coming out to turn it into a multi-milion color very
high resolution machine. Contact ASDG over in 'Vend for details on the
hardware if you're interested. It seems there's a lot of support for the
graphics end being available, and more coming out everyday.
What you would be most interested in, I think, is software that supports
overscan. Most of the newer graphic soft/hardware will easily handle that,
all that's left for you to do is find what you need. I can't list all
that's available, as it would be a very long list. 8) Talk to Stan

I think you'll find the Amiga more than just a inexpensive paintbox as you
come to know it and discover just what it can do. I've seen the 'best'
offered to the public, and the Amiga beats all but the _very_ expensive
hands down.
