Stereo audio INTO 4000?!

All they do is mix in the external stereo audio with the stereo audio coming from the custom chips on the 4000 right before the signal comes out of the RCA plugs on the back of your 4000. This is very similar to mid-to-hi end audio cards on the IBM. They usually mix the audio coming from the CD with the output from the sound card. Unfortunately, there's no mixer control for the 2 signals on the 4000. When I first hooked it up, the CD audio was a little low compared to my system beep sound. I remedied the problem by turning down the beep sound to 32. This is different from the 'PlayCDDA' program that reads the audio CD data, converts it to 8-bit, then plays it through the Amiga sound chips. Erik Flom
