I've been reading that in order to do any sort of high-end rendering, I should have more memory, and perhaps a fixed storage device. Since I'm fairly new in the Amiga world, I'm fairly unfamiliar with the particular brands of hardware available for my Amiga. If possible, could you perhaps suggest a good ram expansion kit available? I am operating on an Amiga 500 currently with plans on purchasing an Amiga 2000 in the near future. (Perhaps in the next 3 – 4 months). The work you are doing at Impulse sounds quite exciting. Currently, I'm working partially in the graphics field – mainly mapping. We are working on a contract that incorporates a packages, Intermaphics developed by Prior in Canada for us into our CCIS system. We're using an Intel 386 (running at 15 mhz) with a Matrox 1281 graphics card hooked into a Hitachi 20" graphics monitor. We are also using an Electrohome large screen projector to project the graphics image (resolution of aprox. 1280 X 1000). Unfortunately, due to the corporate management we are not actuallyD=#ing , but using. As I've read earlier, y+ are promoting the Amiga – I'm very interested in developing graphic applications for my Amiga… I'm fairly well versed in C, though am at a stand-still deciding which compiler to purchase – the Aztec or Lattice system. We use both at work, though I hear that the Aztec is the efficient and best choice to go with..
