If by now (20 Sep 88) you haven't committed suicide, this may help you. Don't
ask me why, but the A2000 video output is not compatible with any multisync (as
far as I know). But there is hope… Ever seen announcements regarding Flicker
Fixer? That's a video board that goes inside the 2000 and allows you to enjoy
flickerless images at an even slightly higher resolution (overscan). You hook
up any multisync or IBM (yech!) VGA compatible monitor. I've seen it in local
store and it works fine except for a border around the image so that you don't
use quite all the available picture tube surface. I'm gonna buy one rigth now
and am currently looking into buying a Sony hi-res Video projector.
Try to find the (new) Amigo Times magazine ($8.95 with disk) which apparently
has a review of Flicker Fixer this month. Advertised cost for a FF board is
$595.oo, but I'm getting mine for $499.
What little I know, maybe it helps yo.
