#ARP Docs
Tony – the main change in the V1.3.2 WorkBench release is the addition of
some keywords to the MOUNT command which apply if you have a multi-serial
port card. Also there are a few minor additions in WBV1.3.2 such as the
improvements to the EVAL command to allow more complex expressions but I'm
not aware of any other major incompatabilities. You should read through
the WBV1.3.2 documentation to see if there are any particular changes which
you need and aren't available in the ARP versions of the programs.
The complete ARP user documentation for V1.3 is in file "ARPDOC3.ZOO",
which is in AmigaTech LIB 14 as well as in AmigaVend LIB 14 (the
Microsmiths vendor support aread). In ARPDOC3.ZOO is a list of all known
incompatabilities and bugs in the V1.3 ARP release; to summarize, if you
want to be conservative you may prefer to use Commodore's versions of
MOUNT, EXECUTE and RUN, though you'd be giving up some of the ARP
extensions such as MOUNT's ability to mount multiple devices on a single
command line.
If you have any questions, I get by the Microsmiths vendor support area
fairly frequently (AmigaVend section 14) … you can also ask here, though
I only check through AmigaTech every couple weeks- …cheath
