Help with ARC
Steven:
1) make sure you have the program ARC.EXE from the libs here.
2) RENAME the file to ARC (in a CLI type "rename arc.exe arc" [without the
quotes] and then hit RETURN.
3) put the file in your boot "C" directory ("copy arc c:") & hit RETURN.
Then, cd to the directory with the file you want to unarc, and type "arc x
<filename>" and hit RETURN.
4) Yes, there is a graphics user interface (GUI) program which unarcs, unpacks,
unzoos, etc. It was written by a fellow who calls himself HERMES, and should
be in the Tools lib here. It is called ARCHA. (By GUI, I mean, you can use it
by clicking on various gadgets with a mouse. It includes a built in file
requestor, too.
