Michael, one of the simplest approaches would be to use a text finder.
Don't know if there are any on this forum (DECPC), but over in one or
another of the IBM forums are the utilities FIND and MAXFIND (use the "File
Finder") that will report back on where (file name, line number) they find
an input string that you specify. They work fine on the R'bow…Steve
