Larry, NO…you only need to mount the RESx: partitions when you PREP the drive. If you don't want the drive to automount, don't PREP it. Then, the entire drive is available for FFS. If the drive has previously been PREP'ed, you'll have to mount and format it before it won't automount. Your mountlist would start at cylinder 0 and go to the highest numbered cylinder. In other words, if you have a drive with 700 cylinders, your mountlist would show a LowCyl number of 0 and a HighCyl number of 699. Don
