Don, one other thought (and I've ruled out the window patch and handywb since my last message); could there be something about the real old bb's made in Germany and my old 4.2 2000 that could be causing this? I found out yesterday that a much newer bb was much easier to get to work in my 2000 and am wondering whether there are any other such issues. Ron
