Ron, Yes, that's true. I had the same problem until I removed the chips and bent the contacts on the socket out a tiny bit to insure they make good contact. My problems with it having to be seated just exactly right to work went away. I've had it out a couple of times since then. To get it working again…I simply inserted it just like any other card. No playing with it to get it into just the right position. Don
