Since you're using DOS 6.2, you could try this test. At a DOS prompt,
type EDIT <enter>. When the program is launched, see if you can use
your mouse. If you can't, then Gus Grubba's comment means LOAD YOUR
MOUSE! You need to find your MOUSE.COM file or its equivalent and
load it in your autoexec.bat or config.sys, restart your computer,
then run 3DS.
If your mouse is running while EDIT is loaded, then you may have to
tell us more about the brand of mouse, what error message, how is the
mouse being loaded, etc., for us to help.
