There's a bulls-eye structure on the farside of the moon, name forgotten Meteor Crater, Arizona. Valle Marineris, Mars Sea-floor features, like the Mid-Atlantic rift or some of the trenches Question: if most USGS data is NOT in DEM format, is it available on disk in some =other= format? How difficult is conversion. If it is tedious but not difficult, farm it out to us enthusiasts! If it is a feasible conversion, write (or get someone else to write) a conversion program. . . . . . .
