HD/020 Compat. Problems
Hi, I've got a strange compatibility problem. For the past 18 months I've
been happly using A2000 w/45 Mb HD. Last night, however, I installed a
used A2620 into my heretofore happy Amiga, and now, if I try to boot into
the 68020 it says my boot partition has a R/W error. This doesn't occur
when I boot into the 68000. I can boot from floppies without any trouble,
and I then can mount the HD, but about the only thing I can do is look at
directories, almost any attempt to *use* the HD results in a R/W error.
BTW, I *never* got R/W errors when using the 68000. Here's my set-up:
1) A2620.
2) IVS Trump Card w/Maxtor LXT-50S attached as a hard card.
3) MicroBotics 8-Up! board w/2 Mb installed.
Now, does anyone know of any compatibility problems with the A2620 and hard
drives (SCSI)?
