Continued;
I have the GVP 030/882 at 28MHz and 4 MB 32-bit RAM, plus a 16-bit RAM card
with 6 MB on it plus my 2000 has 1MB on motherboard for a total of 11MB,
but it only sees 9 maximum. I have 160MB of Hard disk space and I tend to
use it up……….
You will not be sorry with the Amiga, like the other message said it will
run circles around the Mac when it is cranked and there is TONS of software
available. I find myself using the same three or four pieces of softwre
out of the hundreds that I own………like deluxePaintIII, pagerender3D,
TurboSilver.FP and Pixmate (for image conversions, etc.) and DigiPaint3
(for when I need HAM painings -4096 colors). I do not like most of the
titling software, I must admit, and actually, AmigaVision (object-oriented
authoring system) or Elan Performer or the Director works fine for me for
titling (I like writing script files, so I use the Director; my partner
HATES writing scripts and makes titles on black backgrounds and uses
AmigaVision to do titling); either way you can get the same results. Best
