#JANUS II

I just got my "JANUS II" and chip upgrade from my CBM dealer. I
received a 3.5" Amiga "PCINSTALL" disk, a 5.52" MS-DOS disk and a chip
"380788-06" which apparently is to replace the ROM chip on the Bridgeboard.
I analyzed the Expansion, PC, and Sidecar directories on the Amiga
disk. It appears that the PCINSTALL disk is identical to the original
PCINSTALL disk which came with my Bridgeboard, none of the files appear to
be newer than 03-Aug-87. In reviewing the notes from the tech forum, one
dated 30-Jul-90, you mentioned to Jerry Rockwell, that he had to delete the
"sidecarsettings.table" from his old disk and install the "new version"
PCCOLOR file. Did I not get the upgrade PC INSTALL disk?
Also from Amazing Amiga of April 1990, it mentions that the "new
Bridgeboard software" contains a utility called MAKEAB, which is supposed
to autoboot the virtual MS-DOS drive on the PC side. The 5.25" disk which
I received only contained 3 AMOUSE files, JLINK.COM dtd 7-28-88, JDISK.COM
dtd 7-28-88, ADISK.COM dtd 12-12-86, AWRITE.EXE dtd 1-26-89, a file called
ATIME, and AREAD.
Did I get the correct disks with my chip upgrade? If not, is there an
order or stock number by which the correct disks can be ordered? My dealer
seemed to have a difficult time finding out the info about the Janus II
upgrade.
