John, I am about at about the same position with 30 kills and two medals. I
am eagerly awaiting my first encounter with the "Baron". His first kill was
on Sept 17th, an F.E.2b "pusher (the same type that shot dowm Max
Immelmann). His first kill over a fighter plane was on on November 23rd, a
D.H.2. – also a "pusher". Maybe I can get him before he gains much more
experience. He's not a very fancy flyer I've been told, but he is flying
the new Albatross DII!
My kill rate would be higher but I have had quite a few victories snatched
away by my fellow pilots. Now if I got rid of some of the competion . . .?
Jees! I been watching "The Blue Max" too many times!
BTW watch out for April of 1917 – BLOODY APRIL!
