Ethan,
I believe you are mistaken about the Quantum drives and the 2500. I'm
pretty sure that I read that Quantum had discontinued the 40M drives, so
Commodore went to the nearest equivalent, the 50M ones. This would be for
both the 2500 and the 3000.
