True, I'm hearing a LOT about the Pulsar — but I don't think it'll work
on a 2000, even though it's a better-sounding deal than the bridgeboards. I
wish it would! Maybe some wizard will figure out a way?

You may be right, but I think it's more likely that the developers see
the bridgeboard as filling the current need, even though it's overpriced.
