I recently set the MNP flag on and now Whap! won't shut off at the end of
a session. It seems that MNP is hanging up before the end of the final
hangup messages (it can do that, ya know). Since I haven't found any
immediate benefit to having the switch turned on, I think I'll go back to
trying it without the MNP button.
