Have you been following Martin's thread about the controller for the
Pioneer 3030 consumer LD player? He says it won't read from the LD player,
only send commands to it. I'm wondering how much of a handicap this is. Are
most of the things you would do with AV such that you normally output
commands or do you read also? What kinds of reads?
