Most people, it seems, are uploading material that has been published elsewhere first. There is, interestingly, an issue of "substantial changes" which, if applicable, makes YOUR version copyrightable in its own right, even if you ripped if off of somewhere else. Digital reproduction and issues of artistic ethics have collided and the courts have been awash with the waves from it all. If you do not intend to add your own touch to the work, be safe and credit the source somewhere in your file. I doubt they would make a big deal of it.
