At the last minute, CBM added a new feature to the Copper – a chip that is
used to manage graphics movement (very greatly simplified explanation),
that is supposed to be very nice, but which did not work properly with most
of the animation packages that were written prior to the addition of this
feature. CBM is working on it.
Please remember that the operating system for the 3000 is not yet final.
Yes, you will get a free upgrade to the final OS when it is finished. And
while I cannot make promises about it, I sincerely believe that almost
everything will continue to work with 2.0 once it is finished and really
out in final form.
