Chris: I am using AmaxII with an Amiga 1000. I have never had the problem of the debug window opening. As for the Amax RAM disk, it is supposed to be recoverable (this is not a bug). If you use your computer as an Amiga, some of the memory may be overwritten. But Amax tries to recover as much as possible when you reboot the mac. (I personally think that this is one of the best features of Amax). A real mac has a ram disk too, but I don't think that it is recoverable. In response to other questions about serial communications (from other users) I don't seem to have any problems. Someone said there is a bug (which ReadySoft has apparently fixed) when both 16 and 32 bit memory types are present. I guess I haven't seen some of these problems because I am using a 1000. Does anyone have any further info on this? -David Cattell
