Nancy – Regarding compatibility with an MS-DOS counterpart – it is not just the existence of an MS-DOS counterpart, it's whether or not that counterpart gets much use. Where I work, WordPerfect is the defacto standard. Special macros have been prepared for it that haven't been prepared for other wordprocessors, etc. (thesis formats, etc.). While my preferred MS-DOS wordprocessor is Microsoft Word, there are certain applications for which I have to use WordPerfect. It is useful to have a version of WordPerfect for the Amiga, even though that version is not as up to date as the MS-DOS version. Jeff Schweiger
