No, I haven't been reading Cyberpunk Sci-Fi, maybe I should. <G> But on that vien, no pun intended, there is an excellent movie, called "Brainstorm" which is about linking people up to a recording device very similar to what you describe. It was the last movie that Natalie Wood did, and Christopher Walken was also in it. They hooked up probes and were able to record peoples thoughts and then the tapes could be replayed and experienced exactly as they happened. Natalie Wood died tragically before it was completed. There is a scene like the one you describe as well, with bizarre consequences. Great cast! By the way the part of the thread that you responded to is currently happening, I just mention that in case it wasn't clear. I expect that there'll be even more work for types like us 🙂 (What type is that? I don't know, right now we're called 3D Animators but in the future as things change, who knows! <G> How about "3D Thought-Animated Kineticists".
