Good question! If you registered the package, Autodesk can trace it easily.
As long as no one upgrades it before you let them know it has been lost, all
is well in Mudville.
If it's not registered, my recommendation is to first make a Xerox copy of
the disk itself, then send it by traceable courier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) so you
have a record of the shipment. It can then be replaced by Autodesk with
very little hassle.
