Yes, I have done RGB->YUV conversion for three drivers. The BANDIT VTPADI, the
FAST RDPADI and lastly, the PAR low level driver. 4:1:1, 4:2:2, Chroma
correction, noise filtering, temperature adjustments, the works… All in
486/586 floating point assembly. It's over 4Mb per second in my computer (3
frames per second where the Amiga takes over 20 seconds for a single image).
