You can only edit onto the linear channels. You can not edit the hi-fi
channels without disturbing the video. This is not something that is
particular to the AG-7750. All recorders with hi-fi capabilities suffer
from this limitation. The only thing you can do, is to make a copy and feed
whatever audio source you have to the hi-fi channels. This of course drops
your video down a generation, but you'll have great sounding audio.
