I can see some logic to the ideas expressed here that CBM can't put up the price of a major ad campaign in the US for CD32. This is not the kind of machine you sell at small dealerships, it is a mass consumer item and requires massive advertising. The 32 bit won't mean a thing to the vast majority of buyers of this item, they will buy on glitz and promises. Nonetheless, if CBM lets the biggest market in the world get away they will have shot themselves in both feet and deserve no sympathy.
