Look for a program call ComixBase by Terence Russell. He appears to have
two internet addresses: trussell@sun.cuug.ab.ca and
russell6112@mtroyal.ab.ca. This base keeps track of title, publisher, two
label fields for "special" and "notes", has room for three each of writer,
penciller, and inker, issue# and # of copies, issue date and value. It
will keep the base sorted, print a title/issues-owned report, and
calculate the total value of the collection. I don't remember where I
picked up my copy and I don't remember which files are supposed to be in
the archive so I can't upload, but CIS allows internet mail so I'm sure
you'll be able to find it. It requires WB 2.x+.
If your friend owns or has access to a PC clone, there's a commercial
comic database by a company called AbleSoft (they make a card database as
well) that has more features, but it _is_ commercial and thus costs more
(around the $40 range, I think). Hope this helps …
