Peter,
I was mistaken, or perhaps the printer came with an old version of the ink
because the current ink is waterproof. The printer came directly from the
HP warehouse but perhaps they were moving old stock. Cheap paper will make
it smudge a little bit if you rub it hard but that's the paper.
