Regarding RAM and its pricing: I sort of dabble in hardware/software
reselling. (Dabble = 5 – 10 systems per year by word of mouth alone).
It certainly fluctuates like the stock market and other commodities, and volume
purchasing makes a HUGE difference. Within the past week, my wholesaler was
selling small quantities at about $38 per meg. I'm sure that a motivated buyer
can do MUCH better than that through "Computer Shopper" or the reseller rags.
