Ben,
a quick request. Right now, I'm creating a layered 24-bit animation using
DCTV, DPaint, Imagemaster, and an ARexx macro, along with the MachIV macro
utility to help me solve Imagemaster problems. Problems like: 'abssub' comes to
a halt because IM puts up the "ignore negative results"/"change negative to
positive"/"done" gadget. (These choices don't appear as an extra parameter in
Arexx, as in 'abssub 0') I can clear that hurdle by having ARexx tell MachIV to
click its way through Imagemaster, rather than using 'abssub' directly. Another
problem, also solved by using MachIV, is the fact that several IM functions,
for example Dynamic Range, just don't have an ARexx equivalent. MachIV is
wonderful to automate IM functions not accessible through ARexx. There is,
however, one problem I can't solve.
Don't ask why, but 'imtofront' doesn't always work, and I'd like to use
MachIV's "screen to front" function to force IM to the front, ready to accept
further simulated mouse clicks. Unfortunately, the IM control panel is not a
named screen! Would you put that request on the pile for the next version?
Thanks.
Blaq!
