#GVP A2000 Impact 8/X brd
Can anyone help me? I just acquired a GVP IMPACT A2000-8X SCSI/RAM Controller
board. It has 8 megs of ram installed, but I can't seem to access the memory.
🙁 I double checked the jumpers. The install procedure described in the
manual just doesn't work.
My users guide (c 1990, page 21) says to type "ed s:startup-sequence" at the
"1" prompt. OK so far, although my prompt isn't "1"…
Then it says to insert the line "c:addmem 800000 9fffff" into the file, which I
did. But when I reboot, my amiga doesn't recognize this command or the memory.
I am running workbench 2.04 on an Amiga 2500 with 2 megs of ram. Sorry if I am
not making sense…I am a DOS man trying to learn. Can anyone help me,
please!?
