Hi, I'm trying to install an A2386 BB into my A2000. My computer is crashing when I boot it up, and I am told that this may be caused by the 8 megs of RAM I have on my GVP card. I don't know what type of GVP card I have, but it contains 8 megs of RAM and an 80 meg HD. Since I bought my computer used, I don't have the manuals for the GVP card. I'd like to know if you know why I need to remove the 8th ram, and also how I can remove it. I suppose I remove the ram located in slot CN17, but what should the jumper settings be on the board? It would also be nice if you could tell me w what all the other jumper settings are used for too. It looks like I have a 3.07 rom… at least I have a chip which has the following on it V-3.07/ECD9 EVEN/256. I noticed that there are newer roms out, and would like to know why I might have to upgrade the rom, if I ever get to that point. Thanks for any info, Brandon
