Thanks for the info. You say Electric Image is now c$3000. I've heard that it's being ported to Silicon Graphics machines. Do you know if the price will be similar on this platform? It seems that the bundled software with these machines is pretty good for quick rendered 3D work, but if you want images of the same quality as 3DS then you have to pay a great deal. I can't seem to identify a middle ground. David
