Yes, it is possible to run a NOVA Megaubs on your 520 ST, via a Megabus
Adaptor. Now, the specifications to build your own Megabus are freely available
to anyone who wants it (so it will work on the NOVA) if you like to build it
yourself.
Now, as for the commercial megabus adaptor, the problem is as of now, that
though the prototypes are finished, a suitable manufacturer needs to be found
so that this adaptor doesn't cost too much extra.
24bit is certainly b etter than 16bit, on top of it you can view as high as
your monitor will prolly let you (and as much as will fit into 1 Megabyte or 2
(if SuperNOVA)).
In 256 Colors with the regular NOVA Megabus you can get upto 1088×832 and in
32/64K Colors 800×600 and 640×480 in 24bit, which is certainly more than a
Falcon can do, even with a screen expander, and on top of it, it can be in 90
Hz Non Interlaced as well.
However, if you are very interested in the audio, a Falcon might be an
interesting alternative!
