Vance: Don't I remember the Amiga as being introduced at just about the same time as the Macintosh? Around 1984? I owned one of the very first models of the Amiga which I used for dabbling with sound and sold it a few years back. I can't really agree with you about the basis of the poor manuals. When the Amiga was introduced Commodore was riding very high and the manuals back then were equally poor, as I recall. In any event, I have the basics of what I need down and, hopefully, that will carry me through most of what I have to do. Jerry
