John, The next time I talk to Barbara, I'll see if her club lets visitors tag along & get back to you. I've always though the Icelandic horses were cute, but in our climate I'd worry about heat stroke – they tend to have heavy coats and chunky bodies that don't dissapate heat well. They should do fine in your area, tho. Just remember that the more exotic breeds are not as common and the price tends to be much higher than the popular breeds, like Quarter Horses – that's what we breed. Contact the breed association (if you don't have their address, I should have it somewhere) and they can help you find breeders. If you want a particular breed, start learning about them now. Anne
