PCMCIA is NOT a bus system… it's a memory mapping system. If you want to
map a bus into memory it can do that (as an example an AT/IDE drive or
just plain memory). PCMCIA was not even concieved for such applications as
it's used for today (somewhat like SCSI which was developed for tape
drives only). Sorry to burst that bubble :-).
