RE: RE: LightWave pricing… I've been following this with some amount of curiosity, and would like to throw in my $.0002… I bought the 3.5 (non-standalone) version of LW last week for $99. The SRP of the standalone version was $699 ($649 in the store), regardless of previous LW ownership. While I didn't ask the dealer, the 'woman on the phone' from NewTek told me that the upgrade price from LW 3.5 to any platform 4.0 would be $995. (As far as I remember, but the synapses are growing weaker…) Personally, I think the $995 is fair…assuming it doesn't have near the amount of bugs I've seen from the Raptor/Beta testers. BTW, have anything to say about 'ShaBLAMM!', or do we have to wait until it comes out in LWPro? :^)
