Mimic Fishhook Lens

T'all and you, Jim, OK, OK, it's a fisheye! I think I knew that from my photography days, but the client is always right, right? Anyway, what he wanted was just a pan out to a super wide angle, almost like what a zooming fisheye would yield. The object starting on the left edge of the screen would end up still on the left edge. We were getting too much of the top and floor of the set. I made all the backdrop pieces a little taller and changed the angle/height of the camera. It'll all be rendering soon on somebodies Raptor. Sure glad this came out to be such a good thread, 'tho. I did try a magnifying glass moving over a logo once, and it came out pretty good. I think I made both the upper AND lower surfaces two sided to get the look to come out right. Probably could've just faced them both up. Thanks to everyone for all of the ideas. Now I know what'll occupy all my spare time once this one is done…
