I have an NEC MultiSpin 3X hooked to the EMPLANT's SCSI port. I works fine with both the Mac and Amiga sides, I just can't use it from both at the same time (which makes sense). I use NEC's drivers on the Mac and AsimCDFS on the Amiga. I have had some minor glitches when using the provided "empscsi.device" to access the EMPLANT's SCSI port from the Amiga. It works well enough, but it's not totally reliable. Most of the Amiga CD-ROM's are in ISO-9660 format. This is also a popular format on UNIX and MS-DOS systems. The Mac, however, tends to have CD-ROM's that are standard HFS volumes. This isn't a problem. Most Mac and Amiga CD-ROM driver software can deal with both types. You shouldn't have any problems here.
