For your training pleasure, you can also check out the 3D Studio Tips & Tricks Series, a set of six workbooks all done tutorial-style. The first three books, which have been out for about a year, have been revised for R3 and R4. There are also three new books called Materials & Lighting, Technical Tips and Animals & People. The new six-book set will be out within two weeks, published by Delmar Publishers 1-800-347-7707. The books will retail for $25 each (except Technical Tips, which is an epic tome at $30). The first three books have been used for a number of training curricula, and the three new ones are already slated for an advanced training course coming up next month.
